Told in mixed free-form poetry and prose vignettes, this novel follows a young LGBTQ+ woman’s experience of psychiatric conversion therapy and the decade-long damage it created.
It is a story where substances became survival and rage became language.
She eventually finds the truth: there is no cure for queer, conversion cannot erase desire, and the failure was not hers. That a life can be swallowed by rage. And that it is possible to survive.
She survived conversion. She did not survive unchanged.
Based on a true story, this is a literary exploration of consent, identity, and the cost of being forced to try to fix what was never broken.

We publish Sapphic/Queer - Lesbian first (F/F only) fiction and poetic form novels.
